Viento Shorts Publisher – Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Viento Shorts Publisher is an internal publishing tool of Metin Orak (Viento Apps), Osmangazi mah. 1973 sk. No:2 YK apt. Kat:10 Daire:21, 01790 Sarıçam/Adana, Türkiye. We use it only to publish our own videos to our own YouTube channels. It has no other users, no public interface and no accounts for anyone else.
YouTube API Services
The tool uses the YouTube API Services. By using it, our channels are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google processes data under the Google Privacy Policy.
What data the tool accesses
- The basic details of our own YouTube channels: channel ID, title, handle, description, keywords, banner and translated channel name and description. The tool uses them to check that a login belongs to the intended channel and to keep the channel settings up to date.
- Our own videos and subtitle tracks, which it uploads: video file, title, description, tags, translations and subtitle files.
The tool does not read, collect or store any data about viewers, commenters, subscribers or any other YouTube users or channels.
How data is stored and shared
- OAuth access tokens and the video files are stored only on the channel owner's own computer. They are never sent to anyone except Google.
- We do not sell, rent or share any data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
- The tool uses no cookies and no tracking.
Data retention and deletion
- Locally the tool keeps only the OAuth token of each of our channels and a list of our own uploaded video IDs with their publishing status.
- Channel details read through the YouTube API Services are used only at the moment of the request and are not stored. Anything kept from the API would be refreshed or deleted within 30 days.
- When access is revoked, the stored token is deleted. On request to the contact address below, we delete all locally stored data related to a channel within 7 days.
Revoking access
Access granted to the tool can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page: myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the locally stored token file also removes the tool's access.
